In November 2006 in Prolab gallery was held an impressive exhibition of photographs shot during filming of "Day Watch", famous russian block-buster. Exhibition consists of 9 translucent display photos, 8 huge photo-panels and 7 framed photographs.
"Heroes of Day Watch" is the first solo exhibition of works by Leo Gabriadze, art-director of Bazilevs Production.
His photographs are suprising results of shooting on the intersection of glamour photography and photojournalism. Leo's photos really make filming process a part of the movie itself.
The exhibition have been open to public on November 9, 2006. At the openning among the guests were photographers, journalists, businessman, representatives from Moscow Academy of Photography and photoschool of Moscow House of Photography, major publishing houses.

The main aim of Prolab team was to make this new vivid art project open to general public. Besides, the exhibition is of great interest for professional photographers,"Heroes of Day Watch" shows cutting edge technologies of photo printing.
The concept of exhibition was developed by Prolab team, professionals in making exhibitions and decoraing interiors.
"Heroes of Day Watch" is a kaleidoscope of large display images, various sized shots printed on matte and metallic paper. Mixing different techniques and sizes gives Prolab the wonderful opportunity to enhance the author's leading idea that filming and its result -the movie - constitute one and inseparable space.

Leo Gabriadze graduated from California State University with degree in computer graphics and animation. For the present time he is one of the leading russian directors and art-director of Bazelevs Production. His works are always full of bright, clear and rememberable images. Among his works are adverts for such companies as Beeline, Megafon, MTS, Reebok, Samsung, Panasonic, Nestle, Sharmel, Redd's, Tinkoff.
